WEST LANCS MP TO LAUNCH CHARITY FUN DAY
West Lancashire Labour MP, Rosie Cooper will be officially launching a charity family fun day being held at Holland Hall Hotel, Up Holland, next Sunday.
The family themed fun day kicks off at 12 noon on Sunday 29th June, and aims to raise money for Up Holland Tawd Vale, which will then be split amongst good causes locally.
There will be traditional carousel rides, candy floss stalls, popular children's stage show the Crazy Bears, tombola, face painting, magicians and even the chance to test Burscough FC's very own goal keeper in a `beat the goalie' competition.
Adults can enjoy a traditional farmers market hosted by food historian and well-known local chef, Tom Bridge. Local producers will be selling an array of tasty treats including cheeses, ice cream and black pudding. Tom will also be on hand to offer advice to customers on how to make some famous local recipes.
Refreshments include traditional afternoon tea, a hog roast or lunch at Aspects restaurant, which is open throughout the day.

Local people are being asked to leave their cars at home and walk to the venue as most of the car park will be being used for the entertainment. Marshalls will be directing people to the event and ensuring their safety.
Entry prices are just £1 for adults and 50p for children with all profits being distributed by Tawd Vale.
Owner of Holland Hall Hotel, Ron Jones said; "We are very excited about what promises to be a great afternoon for all the family.
"I am sure the event will be very popular and we are delighted to have MP Rosie Cooper opening the event for us.
"We aim to raise quite a bit of money for Tawd Vale and hope that local people will come down and support our fundraising efforts to help them with their fantastic work."
Rosie Cooper, MP said: "I will be delighted to open the Holland Hall family fun day. I think it is great that local businesses like Holland Hall are doing their bit for charity and supporting local good causes."
