CALLING ALL WIGAN JAZZ FANSAspects Restaurant at Holland Hall Hotel has announced it will be continuing its free Jazz evenings on the first Thursday of every month, the next being Thursday 3rd July. The entertainment will be provided by up and coming local artists, a number of whom are associated with the famous Wigan Jazz Festival which takes place annually in the town. The artist kicking off the entertainment in July is Alex Dee who started his Jazz career with the Wigan Youth Jazz Orchestra. Now studying at Leeds College of Music, he will be performing at this year's Wigan Jazz Festival as part of the Alex Dee Trio. Holland Hall Hotel manager Colin Whittle said: "The best news of all is that the entertainment is free if charge for our guests dining in Aspects restaurant that evening and we will be serving up three of life's great pleasures - good food, fine wine and great music. It should be the first of many memorable nights at Aspects restaurant". A broad range of familiar songs, old and new will be on offer so guests can enjoy a relaxed meal with family or friends. The usual set price menu of just £15.95 for two courses will be on offer with complimentary bread rolls and a choice of a bottle of still or sparkling water.
